Mission Statement

The Friends of the Library in Kirkwood (FOLK) help our library support our Kirkwood community, and help our Kirkwood community support our library. 

Our local library does great work to serve our neighborhood, but needs more financial support and volunteer resources to put on more programs, help more neighbors access the library’s tools, and serve every part of the Kirkwood community. FOLK helps by championing our library in our community, recruiting volunteers for library programs, and raising critical financial support to help pay for new and improved library services. 

We know how important our library is to our neighborhood. It’s where we find stories to help us dream, where we find resources to help us learn, and where we can connect with our community. Join us as we help our library grow!
